The WIPAC Learning Zone came to fruition at WWEM 2018 where it was highly successful. The philosophy of the Learning Zone is to provide an open forum to learn about the basic instrumentation and control systems that are available within the water industry.

 

In the 2018 WIPAC Learning Zone there were four rooms for apprentices, technicians and engineers to learn about

 

• Flow Measurement Systems
• Level, Pressure & Aeration Systems
• Water Quality Measurement
• Instrumentation Communication

 

These workshops included presentations on everything from the basics of flow covering electro-magnetic flow measurement, ultrasonic level-based flow, area-velocity to Profibus for instrumentation control and Bluetooth for instrumentation management.
