WIPAC Monthly in 2017 saw the start of the "Focus On" series of articles which looked at a wide range of the basic flow and analytical applications and covered some of the basic principles. It was highlighted with feature articles looking at diverse areas such as smoothing of flow data, new developments in the measurement of Biochemical Oxygen Demand, cleaning of electro-magnetic flow meters and the use of dissolved oxygen measurement in wastewater.
